Gutenprint 5.2.13-pre1 is a pre-release of Gutenprint 5.2.13. Please
report any problems to gimp-print-***@lists.sourceforge.net. It may
be downloaded from our web site, http://gutenprint.sourceforge.net.
Gutenprint is a suite of printer drivers for UNIX, Linux, and
Macintosh OS X systems (10.6 and above) that use CUPS as their
printing system. Gutenprint currently supports over 2600 printers.
It also includes an enhanced Print plug-in for GIMP that replaces the
print plug-in packaged with the GIMP distribution.
Gutenprint is available for Linux, Macintosh OS X (10.6 and above as
of Gutenprint 5.2.11), and other UNIX systems. Please visit
http://gutenprint.sourceforge.net to download the package.
* Changes from 5.2.12
1) Critical bugfix
* Correct mis-defined paper type that collided with standard
A4 paper. This resulted in some Canon and PCL printers
mishandling A4 paper.
2) Added support for the following Epson inkjet printers:
EPSON Artisan 1430
EPSON L210
3) Improvements to the dye-sublimation driver:
* Code optimizations in the dye-sublimation driver, resulting
in a significant (2x-2.7x) boost in performance.
* Added support for the following thermal printer:
Mitsubishi P93DW
* Enhanced support (and bugfixes) for the following
dye-sublimation and thermal printers:
Canon SELPHY CP820
Canon SELPHY CP910
Canon SELPHY CP1000
Canon SELPHY CP1200
Fujifilm ASK-300 [EXPERIMENTAL]
Kodak 305
Mitsubishi CP-D70DW
Mitsubishi CP-D707DW [EXPERIMENTAL]
Mitsubishi CP-D80DW
Mitsubishi CP-K60DW-S
Mitsubishi P95DW
4) Improvements to the Gimp plugin
* Compilation fixes when CUPS is not enabled
* Fix non-interactive plugin mode
5) Changes to the Canon driver:
* removed iP100 (unsupported)
* Added duplex support to MP530
* Improved duplex support for the following models:
MG3600 series
MG5600 series
MG5700 series
MG6600 series
MG6800 series
iB4000 series
MB2000 series
MB2300 series
MB5000 series
MB5300 series
* Improved printer firmware papersize detection when using
automatic paper source selection (Autofeed), by changing paper
width from calculated to a constant value for paper sizes known
to the driver.
* Added several resolution modes for Pro9500
6) Added the Datamax-O'Neil H class series of printers.
